Falcon History

The XC Falcon |
The last of the big Falcons was the XC introduced halfway
through 1976. The Futura was discontinued but only to reappear
years later, but the legendary GT would be discontinued until
1992. Replacing it was the GXL Fairmont. In 1978 Ford released
the Falcon Cobra, which was a limited run model, early 1978
saw the construction of 13 promotional Cobra's \ unnumbered.
Later in July 1978 Ford constructed 400 numbered examples. The
XC gained newly design front panels, and on 4 door sedans new
rear doors, taillights and bumper bars. What prettier then a
Cobra coupe? - 2 Cobra coupes.
